April serves as the chief litigation paralegal for Escamilla Law Firm, and brings more than twenty eight years of litigation experience with her. Born in Hawaii, she grew up in Pasadena, Texas, where she excelled at volleyball and earned a scholarship at Alvin Community College, where she obtained her Associates Degree in General Liberal Arts in 1988. She continued her education at CLC – Paralegal Institute in Houston, Texas and received a Paralegal Certificate in 1989.
While pursuing her legal career, she later earned a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice Administration in 2005 and Master of Science in Security and Justice in 2007, both from the University of Phoenix. April learned her craft by working for some of the best litigation firms in South Texas, before accepting a position with the Escamilla Law Firm.
